Family Coaching

So… What’s a family coach, you know… do?

Fantastic question.

Some of the many different areas I coach families around are: ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, trauma, and how they make it hard to get things done. I work in-home with your family to learn how these problem areas work, and then I give you all some tools to use. My help tends to be proactive, and not necessarily once things have become a crisis.

My work tends to be coaching both the child and the adults, but it can take any form it needs to fit your family’s strengths. Through our sessions together, I will provide you

  • education around the presenting issues and how to understand the ways they’re showing up in your kiddo — for example, how your child’s ADHD may look differently than one might expect, or how anxiety may come off as irritability.

  • methods of identifying the cycles of these presenting issues, and tools to interrupt them

  • how to help your kiddo lean on their inherent strengths to develop new skills and workflows

  • feedback and training to help parents reframe their own approach when supporting their kiddo

Throughout our work together, I will provide notes outlining topics and skills we’ve covered, short and long-term plans for your family to follow, any helpful resources I can provide, and, by the end of it, you will have access to all of these in a personalized Google Drive folder to use however you see fit.
